I spent more than 25 years trading and leading teams within financial markets, in environments where decisions carried real consequence, performance was visible and pressure was constant.
Over that time, I became increasingly interested in what sat behind performance itself.
Not simply the decisions people made, but how they arrived at them.
Individually, the conversations that took place beforehand. The assumptions that were challenged. The perspectives that were considered.
Collectively, the degree to which teams were truly aligned around what mattered most.
Today, I work with leaders and teams operating in environments where decisions matter, uncertainty exists and performance is important.
My role is not to provide answers.
It is to provide an independent perspective.
A space in which people can properly explore their thinking, challenge assumptions, consider consequences and arrive at decisions with greater clarity, confidence and conviction.
And to help teams better understand how they think, communicate and operate together, creating the conditions for stronger alignment and collective performance.
How I work is shaped first and foremost by experience.
More than two decades spent operating in environments where mistakes had consequences, pressure was constant and the ability to think clearly and perform consistently was essential.
It is also supported by formal training, including a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching.
But qualifications are only part of the story.
The real foundation comes from having experienced difficult decisions, responsibility and uncertainty first hand.
Everything I do is built around a few simple principles.

Structured and where possible, data led in approach.
Practical in application.
Always grounded in the reality of your environment.
Because important decisions deserve to be properly explored before commitment is made.
